Fat Blokes:

This Kind BOdy

by Scottee & Lea Anderson

This Kind Body examines five fat queer bodies and their attempt to carve out a space in which their fatness isn't the cause of their death but the reason they survive.

Made across nine locations and shot entirely on mobile phones during a national lockdown in the UK, This Kind Body is a surreal and often confronting dance film from Fat Blokes Company - a collective of non-trained dancers based in the UK.

Fat Blokes have been making work with each other since 2018 when they created an award winning, critically acclaimed stage show of the same name, produced by performance, theatre and arts company Scottee & Friends Ltd.

This is Scottee & Friends Ltd. and Fat Blokes Company's first short film project.
